The Guild has a number of standing activities, note each item below and contact information if applicable.

Each year, the guild makes a quilt and sells raffle tickets.  The quilt is raffled off at the May meeting, and this is the primary fundraiser for the guild.

When a guild member moves away, we make friendship star blocks (the guild block) as a token of friendship and remembrance.

Friendship Star Blocks

Each fall the guild sells bags of pecans to raise money for the guild.  The pecans are fresh and usually arrive just in time for holiday baking!

Twice a year, the guild goes on a three day weekend retreat.  It’s a chance to spend time with friends, make new friends, get projects done and de-stress with time away from job and home.

Activities List

The guild makes and donates quilts to several Frisco area services including Victoria Gardens and Frisco Family Services.  Click on the link above for details about where and when and who to contact.

Block of the month is a voluntary activity.  Members are given directions for a block each month.  You can make as many as you want, and you can keep them or put them in the raffle at the meeting.  At the end of the year there will be 12 blocks that you can use to create a quilt.
